That’s where we come to the language and proximity of the business…and that’s where local language plays a huge role,” she adds. At the company’s headquarters, more than 50 nationalities are present and so “you hear a little bit of everything,” she notes. While many of these firms have formally mandated English, in practice, they rely on a multilingual ecosystem to function.
