Being a regular Claude Code user, I became immediately intrigued when Chaofan Shou discovered that Anthropic's Claude Code npm package contained a .map file with the entire CLI application's human-readable source. Although the package has been withdrawn, the code had already been extensively duplicated, including by me, and thoroughly examined on Hacker News.
