Anecdote time: much of what I’ve done over my career as a professional programmer is building database-backed web applications and services, and I don’t see much of a gain from LLMs. I suppose it looks impressive, if you’re not familiar with this field of programming, to auto-generate the skeleton of an entire application and the basic create/retrieve/update/delete HTTP handlers from no more than a description of the data you want to work with.
